Wordless Wednesday

Best bulletin board of all time, right? LOL

We've spent the last 2 weeks on state testing.
We had to cover everything in our room.

How about you?
Does your district make you hide or take down everything on the walls before the test?

Would love to hear your comments.

  1. Luckily, we don't test grade 1 in CA! Our upper grades have to cover EVERYTHING! Good LUCK! Wendy 1stgradefireworks@gmail.com 1stgradefireworks

  2. Oh my goodness, yes! Our district is taking the MCA tests right now and everything has to be covered. They take them in the computer lab so luckily there isn't too much to cover! Additionally, each computer has folders taped to each side of the screen...the windows are even covered with paper! It feels like a jail when you walk in there! Ha! Ha! If you ask me, I think that all of this testing is a little bit out of control...I'm just thankful that my 2nd graders don't have to take the MCA's. Mrs. Olson’s Lucky Little Learners

  4. We also have to cover up anything related to any possible content on the test. We only test in our room for reading, but I'll be covering boards. I'm hoping that they will magically remember what is behind the butcher paper... wishful thinking right?? ;)

  5. Next week my classroom (1st grade) is being used for testing. I have floor to ceiling cabinets across an entire wall. My word wall is attached to the doors. I was told today I could just open up the doors instead of cover it up. I dunno about the rest of the room yet. But, I have fake accordian walls which makes hanging stuff difficult, so there's less to cover.
