Baptism and a Freebie

When thinking of a new set of Bible Task Cards,
my mind went to Baptism.

Baptism is one of two ordinances that Jesus instituted for the church (Matthew 28:19-20). If it was so important that Jesus commanded it, then it's something we should obey and also teach to our children/students.

I'm not saying that we "teach" baptism and then line them all up to be baptized. I'm saying that we all need to know what the Bible (God) has to say about it.

I made this set of task cards as an overview of the topic. It's certainly not all encompassing.

The prayer is that students know more about who God is and what He expects of us.

Baptism is a beautiful example, an outward testimony of the inward change in a believer's life. May we all feel led by the Holy Spirit to follow Him.

If you are interested in the task cards, click either picture to go to my store to purchase.
If you are new to my task cards, please click and download the following freebie. It will allow you to see how they are set up. You can then practice using them with your students. I'm sure they will love them.

David

Who was David?
What did he do?
Why is so much scripture devoted to him?

The pastor just started a series on the life of David,
and I realized that of all the sets of task cards I have....
No, David.

There is so much for our students (and us)
to learn from David's life.
So I went to work yesterday to get this set of cards done.
Praying that these will help you as you dig in to David's life.

Pirate Girl Who? and a Linky....

Really?? 5 months?
I'll tell you what I've been doing so maybe you'll forgive me for being
gone from my poor blog for so long.
I was busy marrying the man of my dreams!
We had a perfect wedding on the beach.
Not very big, but just exactly what I wanted :)
Loved our beachy cake, and especially love this picture LOL
There were too many cell phones taking pictures, we were rarely
looking at the same one at the same time.
Anyway, that's what I've been up to.

Hope you're getting off to a great summer.
I'm going to kick off summer by joining up with my friend Cyndie over at
Chalk One Up for the Teacher for her 2 for Tuesday linky party.
This week I'm offering 2 of my newest products for 1/2 price.
If you use my task cards, I have just made a MEGA BUNDLE of all of them.
You can grab that below while it's on sale too.
