Sailing through Spring Linky

Thank you so much for stopping by for our Sailing Through Spring Linky.
Many of us are over this winter and are READY for spring, so we thought we would bring together some tips and ideas to help get you going.
Also don't forget about the big sale going on this week at Teachers Pay Teachers (27th & 28th).
This is the perfect time to stock up on your lesson plans for spring.

I'm not sure how your spring break and standardized testing works, but in our neck of the woods,
we are taking spring break the last week of March and then returning to immediately start testing.
Great idea!!!! (ok, we don't think it's so great)

Because of that, we have a lot of pressure heading into break.
My tip is simple, while you're hammering in all of those skills that you've taught all year but are unsure if anyone has listened to or learned...don't forget to have a little fun.

Throw in a few extra learning games,
have some laughs and relieve some of that stress from yourself and your kids.

Here are some links to a few games that I have in my store.

There is also a link to a FREEBIE.
Click on the pictures to visit my store and to grab your FREEBIE.
Now get out there and have some fun. Be sure to visit the other great bloggers who are linking up.

Trick or Treat

Trick or treat! This is Cyndie from Chalk One Up for the Teacher
taking over this blog today as my trick, but keep reading to get your treat!

Several bloggers have joined together for this Trick or Treat Blog Hop. You will find more tricks as well as plenty of treats as you hop from door to door.

So, here's a treat to collect from me. (Oh, that I wish I could shove chocolate through the screen to you, because I think we've all hit that spot in the year, am I right?) This is a fun contraction game with a candy corn theme. Simply match the two word parts to the contraction to create a complete candy corn. You can find the product right here.

What?! Another FREEBIE?!

Oh my word! Have y'all been participating in our blog hop and giveaway?!
And have you been over to check out our new collaborative blog?!
Some super ladies have been hard at work for weeks getting
this all up and running and I think it looks FABULOUS!

I've also hopped around and picked up some great freebies.
If you haven't started, what are you waiting for?
Click the pic to start the hop.
Next up is Memory Verse Monday.
Your packet this week is Revelation 21:23 and
it includes word cards, unscramble the verse, blank writing sheet and a
page to illustrate the verse.
Click on it to get your free copy.
In my neck of the woods we are heading back to school on August 1.
Yep, it's time already!
So here is a view of one of my projects last week.
I inherited an ANCIENT room with ANCIENT shelving and furniture.
So the way it has been spruced up over the years is paint and contact paper:)
How many layers of paint and contact paper can you put on a single shelf?
I finally got all of the contact paper out and the painting began.
I'm working on a sports theme in my room this year
& I'm doing everything in green, blue, black and white.
These 2 shelves are stuck right in the middle of my kids cubbies &
I usually keep baskets of themed books on them.

This year, I am kicking off the Daily 5,
so I am going to house their individual book baskets here.

Since it's a sports theme, I couldn't resist these super cute buckets from the Dollar Tree.
They are big enough to hold a folder and their books.
I am soooo excited about these!
And this is what it looks like.
When I get the whole wall of shelves looking acceptable, I'll post this again.
For now, I'm happy with it:)

Enjoy your Monday and don't forget about the hop!
